Vintage CHANEL Classic Flap Jumbo XL Handbag Black Lambskin 24K Gold Hardware

Condition: Pre-Owned. This is a vintage Chanel bag, produced between 1991-94. The condition is excellent considering this bag is about 30 years old. Barely any scratches on outside leather. Corners are in fantastic condition. Hardware has minimal scratches (as can be expected with 24k gold, which is a soft metal). Light scratches on interior (nothing major at all). No stains, no odor. 

Includes: Chanel handbag and authenticity card.

Beware of replicas! This is a guaranteed authentic vintage Chanel bag. 

Serial numbers 2------ - 1991 to 1994: 0's have no strikethroughs up to 27------. 1's have serifs. This bag has a serial number starting with 28, therefore has a zero strikethrough. 1991 – 1994 have a seven-digit serial number printed on white sticker with Chanel logos. An opaque film covers sticker.

Comes with authenticity card that matches the serial number sticker inside bag. No rainbow hologram effect on card. No grey circle as this is only present on authenticity cards post 2005.

Vintage DMC zipper with round CC zip pull. Flat head screws on backside of lock, Chanel on top, Paris on bottom. Monogram inside soft and slightly raised, not stiff or hard. 

The Cs on vintage bags have a flat finish and they also appear to be larger on the majority of vintage Chanel’s. On a Chanel logo, the right C should always overlap the left C at the top and the left C should always overlap the bottom of the right C. If the CC is gold plated, the CCs are marked with a gold plating symbol, as is the case with this bag.

The stitching on a Chanel should always be perfect. Each inch of Chanel stitching should have at least 10 stitches; this bag has at least 10 (more like 12 but difficult to determine where 1 inch begins and ends). Ultra high quality craftsmanship and very soft lambskin leather.
